The BMR1959™ Collection has arrived in the online shop! To celebrate the advent of this new streetwear-inspired series, Barbie® Signature is bringing a special event to Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles!
At 3:00pm on Tuesday, October 30th, a unique BMR1959™ truck will arrive on Melrose between Ogden Drive and Orange Grove Avenue. You'll be able to get the new dolls there, and the first 100 people in line at the truck will get one BMR1959™ doll for free!
But this is more than just a pop-up shopping opportunity. We're thrilled to announce that Lady Pink will be creating a live art installation on the BMR1959™ truck! As a leading participant in the rise of graffiti-based art, Pink's canvases have entered important art collections such as those of the Whitney Museum, the MET in New York City, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Groningen Museum of Holland. And you'll get to see her create a new work of art right before your eyes.
If you'll be anywhere near Los Angeles on 10/30/19, you won't want to miss this. The truck arrives at 3:00pm, and doll sales end at 6:00pm. It's going to be fantastic, and we can't wait to see you there!
